The idea came to my mind some time ago when I realized that interesting graphic art is not so much about being pretty in a way it is understood by most of us. Although there is no specific definition of 'pretty', it is mainly a matter of a widely understood trend that we are aware of and a trend that is yet to be discovered.
This made me think about our visual tolerance that is mostly based on the styles we are conscious of and our own openness to an innovative image.
